I have been reading The Shack by William P Young. I will definately be posting about this book next week. I only have 2 chapters left and my book club will be discussing it on Monday night. I am loving it and can’t wait to finish it! So, stay tuned for that. This quote was at the beginning of Chapter 15 and I just loved it and wanted to share it with you.
You can kiss your family and friends good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world but a world lives in you. Frederick Buechner, Telling the Truth
Also, I am very excited because today I am having my first knitting lesson. I have been wanting to learn to knit every since I read Debbie Macomber’s The Shop on Blossom Street. Yesterday I purchased my #10 needles, my fancy brown yarn, and today I will travel to my neighbor, Jan’s who is going to patiently teach me how to knit a scarf. I am bursting with excitement! I will keep you posted on my progress!
