Since I have gotten my Kindle I have been on the search for sites that offer FREE or LOW-PRICED books for the Kindle. Since friends of mine have also gotten Kindles or Kindle Fires they have been asking where I find all the FREE books. So, here is a list of websites that I use to find FREE or LOW-PRICED books.
- Follow Amazon Kindle on Facebook – Offer a book deal/day
- Follow Ereader News Today on Facebook or go to www.ereadernewstoday.com and sign up for their newsletter – Offer several books throughout the day
- Follow WeekinRewind on Facebook or go to www.weekinrewind.com and sign up for their newsletter – Offer several books throughout the day
- Follow Pixel Of Ink on Facebook or go to www.pixelofink.com
- Check out the blog http://blog.booksontheknob.org/ for daily updates
Keep in mind, these books and their prices have nothing to do with the website listed. These prices are most often set by the book’s publisher. They may leave the book at that price for an hour, a day, or several days. You never know. Sometimes they just want to get the book out in some readers hands and get people talking about it. Sometimes the publisher will reduce the price of an authors older book to get you to read their more recent book. Finding these LOW-PRICED books is a great way to be introduced to a new author, to read an older book by a favorite author, or to just find a great book you didn’t even know about.
My “rule” (remember rules can be broken, of course) is not to spend more than $5 for a Kindle book. I have found numerous great books (ones I have even been wanting to read) for Free – $3.99. For the price of a Starbucks latte, I can get a book and that is a great deal to me!
Do you have any other sites that you use to find Kindle books? Feel free to leave them in the comments section. Share the knowledge!

Hi! I also like http://www.bargainebookhunter.com – they find freebies everyday too. And I also like http://www.pixelscroll.com – they have lots of goodies and freebies for the Kindle Fire.
Thanks for the info. Check out the Doorkeeper blog. She has a free Kindle page (http://reneeannsmith.com/free-kindle-downloads/). I have a nook and those same books are usually free. They are mostly Christian fiction and non-fiction. Christianbook.com has a free ebook page. Many of those books are free for the nook and Kindle but not all. If I cannot get those books on my nook, I load them to my Sony reader. Happy Reading!
