Another busy week in the books for the Gorkow family. Every day was packed and nearly every evening too. We managed to squeeze in our annual Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt for the kids. They had fun running around the house, deciphering their clues to find books, movies and candy. Pat got me a Colbie Caillat CD and I have been really loving her soothing music this week.
Pat surprised me with these gorgeous tulips on THURSDAY; an after Valentine’s Day surprise. He has also been working very hard on a new shelf for my cookbooks. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Stay tuned!
Patrick played in his last basketball tournament of the season. I love watching him play, but I won’t miss the “bleacher butt” I get from sitting all day at tournaments. Soon we will be outside (freezing probably) watching the boys play soccer.
This is what Reagan gets to do during the tournaments. She and another sister of a player bring toys, notebooks, and coloring books and spend all day creating and playing in the stands. They always have such a good time.
Patrick and Coach/Dad watching the action on the court. I know Pat really enjoys being able to be a part of the boys sports activities.
Patrick hustling down the court. You really played well this season and showed some great improvement in your skills! I can’t wait to see you play in middle school next year!
And we are off on another busy week. We have something very exciting coming up next week which is making this week extremely hectic. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will get little sleep as I try to accomplish everything on my list. I can’t wait to share about it in the next couple weeks! I am super excited. Stay tuned!!!!!
