This quote inspired me today. I was recently excited about something that I had done and unfortunately, rather than be excited with me, the person I was talking to shot me down. This person chose to point out something negative about me rather than praise me for what I had done. I let it bother me for about 5 minutes and then I decided to shake it off and remember all that I had accomplished and, much like this person, I still have a lot of work on. Don’t give up, keep at it, and accomplish that dream! Thanks Josh Cox for inspiring me today!

It's so frustrating when that happens! I usually remind myself of the Eleanor Roosevelt quote about how no one can make us feel inferior without our consent, and then try to move on. The quote you shared is great too.
