A Very Brave Night

Julius and Macy are the best of friends. They go out at night to play in the forest. After a night of playing, they were hungry for a snack but found their wagon of snacks empty. So, they set out on a mission to find the Night Goblin that stole their snacks. Even though the two of them are scared, they encourage each other to be brave. But, the Night Goblin may not be as scary as they thought.
Julius and Macy are the sweetest of friends and they are also adorable. The illustrations of the animals in the forest are just the cutest. Since this is a nighttime story, the colors are muted in soft pastels and the whole book is just gorgeous.
I loved how Julius and Macy encourage and support each other. When one is scared the other steps up. When the Night Goblin is revealed, their reaction will remind kids to be kind and welcoming to new kids they might meet.
