Adapted from the lyrics of one of Bob Marley’s much-loved songs, Is This Love?, comes a new children’s book celebrating the love of siblings. When a baby sister comes home, her big sister vows to be her best friend forever.
This book celebrates the love of a family, especially the joy of two sisters growing up together. From building forts with blankets to a playdate at the park, big sister will be there to help her little sister make her dreams come true. Throughout the book, Marley’s chorus sings out on the pages, “Is this love? Is this love that I’m feeling?”
No matter who you call family, this book reminds kids that love between family members is unconditional and joyful. The illustrations show a family that plays together, reads together, and loves each other. In the author’s note at the end of the book, Cedella Marley shares the love felt among her siblings and parents and how she continued that lesson of love with her own three sons.
