When our kids were little, I loved filling their Easter baskets with books, games, and summer items they would need like swim gear and outdoor toys. Over the next several days, I’ll be sharing a few books that you might want to tuck into your child’s Easter basket. Click HERE to them.
OOPS! RABBIT

Fiction
Jo Ham’s Rabbit picture book series is an international sensation. This is the third in her Rabbit series of silly foibles with a rabbit. From a paint can with spills to a sand castle destroyed by a big wave to a tub overflowing with bubbles Rabbit makes a few mistakes and accidents are bound to happen.
With black silhouette drawings, spots of pink, and minimal words, young children will soon be able to read along including saying OOPS! Rabbit’s final scene has him trying to grab a cake on the counter. Oops! Don’t worry, it still got eaten!
This simple picture book is great for kids who are learning to sit for a picture book and one they will easily be able to read themselves once the few words are learned. This whole series of Rabbit books is quite popular in Paris and Ham’s Rabbit designs can be found on all kinds of items. The endpapers are all full of Rabbit doing all kinds of fun activities.
Jo Ham is an award-winning British illustrator, artist, and designer. She is also the founder of HAM and creator of Rabbit, whose joyful adventures have been spotted everywhere from the Centre Pompidou in Paris to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. HAM’s playful illustrations can be found on ceramics, prints and nursery decorations that are favorites in homes all around the world. Check out her website, HERE.
