Have you ever paid attention to all the sounds that you hear throughout your day? From the birds singing outside your window to the toast popping up in the toaster to a door opening to the sound of the tub filling, there are so many happy sounds in the day.
Kids will be able to see the various things that make sounds and then press the buttons to hear the sound. The sound button corresponds to the icon at the top of the page. Then all the sounds on the page are heard through the book’s speaker.
On the Good Morning page, you’ll hear a bird chirping, a door opening, curtains opening, a kiss, and a baby saying, “Hi”. The various sounds throughout the book include a picnic at the park, going on a walk, being at home, and bath and bedtime. There are also pages that feature the sounds of the seasons. The book ends with all kinds of fun sounds at a birthday party.
Each item is labeled so the child will know the sounds and connect them to the illustration on the page. Helping to connect sounds to items and words is an important learning skill for toddlers. My great-nephew loved reading this book together and choosing which button to push for the sounds. This book is also similar to THE BIG BOOK OF NATURE SOUNDS that I shared, HERE. There are twenty buttons with over 100 sounds to keep your toddler interested. The thick pages will hold up to numerous readings. The illustrations show a diverse community of people and the bold font stands out on the pages.
Toddlers and preschoolers love books with sounds. This is a great book to entertain your child and teach them important learning skills.
