On Vacation

I’m on vacation! I’m taking a couple of weeks off to go visit my mom in Texas. She has been a snowbird for the first time in her life and is LOVING the warmer weather and all the daily adventures. She is with her sister and brother-in-law and they are taking wonderful care of her.

It’s time for her to come home but first, my sister and I are spending some time with her there before we start the long journey back home. I’m looking forward to seeing a part of our country that I’ve never been to (the South Padre area) and enjoying the sun and warm temperatures.

If I could ask for prayers of safety during our travels. We will be spending 20+ hours on the road on the way down and about the same on the way back with a detour to visit a friend of my mom’s. That’s a lot of road time and I’d ask for prayers of protection, prayers that my sister’s vehicle remains in good working condition and we have no mechanical issues, and prayers that we all remain healthy. Thanks for your prayers.
