With everything that is going on in my world, I was feeling a little overwhelmed a few days ago. I decided to make a list of what I’m grateful for just to take my mind off of all the things I can’t control right now. That list consisted of a lot of personal things as well as some physical items that I am really loving right now. After making this list, I thought it might be a great time to share some of it with all of you in case you could use something to cheer you up right now.
Some of these items include affiliate links where I might get a small commission if you make a purchase. I appreciate your support. But, know that these items are all things I’ve chosen to pay for with my own money and they have brought joy or comfort to my days.
November is here and I have 8 weeks left of my long-term subbing gig. November and December are usually full of joy and expectation of the coming holidays, but during a pandemic when we aren’t sure if we can spend time with family, there isn’t much to look forward to. I’m choosing to find the joy in the day to day items that make my life easier.

Care/Of
This company offers a personalized packet of vitamins catered to your needs. When you visit the website, HERE, you fill out a quiz determining your focus areas of concern. For me, it was immunity and energy. Care/of then offers a set of vitamins and/or powders to meet your daily needs. They ship them on the date you set up every month and there is nothing else you need to do. You can also track your usage on their app and earn carrots toward discounts or other merchandise. I am on my third personalized packet with them and just love the ease of taking vitamins. I look forward to the quote, tip, or bit of history shared on each packet as well. They are easy to travel with, just grabbing a packet for each day. I also ordered protein power and collagen powder that I put in my smoothies or coffee once in a while. It is super easy to delay a shipment as well if I fall behind and don’t need them monthly. If you are looking to begin a vitamin regimen, Care/of is a great place to start!

Olly Vitamins
Along with my Care/of vitamins, I also take a multivitamin to make sure I’m getting Vitamin D and Vitamin C into my daily intake. I’ve tried numerous multivitamin pills and gummies and the Olly brand is my favorite. Our daughter takes their Probiotic Multivitamins. I also take their Sleep gels in the evening for magnesium and melatonin support.
#3
Hydroflask
I have used many water bottles over the years and most of them serve the purpose of keeping my water cold and helping me drink more water. Lately, this has been my go-to for taking water to school. I love the size of 40 oz. It isn’t too big or too heavy and it fits perfectly in my school bag. It has a tight seal and I’ve never once spilled my water even if I knock it over or drop it. My water is always cold and the straw ensures I don’t spill down my front when taking a drink!
#4
Donut Shop Holiday Buzz
I wait all year for this coffee to become available. It is my absolute favorite coffee. There is just a hint of peppermint which helps me wake up in the morning. I just found it at Wal-Mart last week and have drank it every morning since!

Betabrand Dress Pant Yoga Pants
I was skeptical when I saw the ads for these pants on Instagram, but I decided to give them a try and if I didn’t like them, I’d just sent them back. Well, I now own two pairs! These are super comfortable pants. They look nice for work but are also as comfortable as if I was wearing yoga pants. I have a $15 credit to offer if you’d like to try them too! Click HERE to check them out. I have the Straight Leg in black and the Straight Leg with Pockets in a brown houndstooth pattern.

Spotify Playlists
I spent some free time in the last month building some playlists of some of my favorite songs along with specific themes including 80’s music, all-time favorites, songs when I’m feeling mellow, and my favorite Christian songs. I’m still creating an instrumental/piano music playlist and one of all my favorite oldies. But I thought I would share these two playlists with you in case you are looking for some new tunes.

Libby App
I’ve shared this before, but it’s so good I have to share it again. Libby is an eBook and audiobook app through your local library. You can checkout eBooks and audiobooks for free just like you would in person at your local library. I have be able to read so many more books and saved so much money by using this app. I mostly use it for audiobooks, but I have read some great eBooks as well. Just like a library though, your checkout only lasts 14 days and then it disappears.
Some of my recent audiobooks have been HIDDEN VALLEY ROAD, THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR, CRAIGLIST CONFESSIONAL, ALL AMERICAN BOYS, and IF YOU LIVED HERE YOU’D BE HOME BY NOW. I listen to the books while getting ready in the morning and if I am cleaning around the house or driving somewhere. It’s a great way for me to keep reading if I can’t take the time to read a physical book.

Olive and June Nail Polish
Another Instagram ad that sucked me in and made me a fan for life is the company, Olive and June. Their nail polish is legit. I’ve worn a lot of nail polish in my years and nothing has stayed on, chip-free as long as this has. Every time I wear their polish I get compliments on my manicure. I started with their Starter Kit, but really, just get the polish and top coat. That’s all you need. You can also find their polish at Target now, in some stores and online.

Sunbeam Heated Mattress Pad
We have always had a heated mattress pad on our bed. Our first one came from my parents and this spring I noticed it was time to get a new one as our other one was pretty thread-bare. I just placed this new one on our bed and it works great. I can’t imagine ever having it set above level 3 or 4 for heat as it is quite toasty. It also has the dual controls so my husband and I don’t have to use the same setting. With winter coming, I recommend gifting these to anyone that is hard to buy for. I love the heated pad way more than the heated blanket.

Rodan and Fields Active Hydration Body Replenish
My niece is a Rodan and Fields consultant and turned me onto this body lotion that is Ah-Maz-Ing! I love slathering this on to my feet or elbows at bedtime and waking up with soft and moisturized skin. It’s expensive, but I use such a small amount that it lasts me months and months.
I hope you’ve loved my list of things making me happy right now. If you make a purchase, be sure to let me know if you are loving it. We all have to find the little things right now to keep us sane!
What are you loving right now?
