Last Friday was my first day off after substitute teaching for 8 weeks. First on the agenda was packing for a trip to Kansas City. My mom, sister, and two nieces joined me for a trip to see the Princess Diana Exhibit.
The Diana Exhibit is only in Kansas City for a few more weeks….ending on June 12, 2011. But, if you are remotely close to there, you should definitely go! The exhibit is at the Union Station and is very easy to get to. For more info you can check out http://www.dianaexhibit.com/ and for tickets you can check out http://www.ticketmaster.com/. Our tickets were a reasonable $23.50 (seniors $18.00) and took about 1 1/2 hours to go through. You do have to choose a time to go through and I recommend the earlier the better. As the morning went on, it got quite busy.

I will always remember the reaction to seeing her wedding dress and my mom’s reaction as well. She said, “I have goosebumps.” The section of the exhibit related to her death and funeral was also quite emotional, even all these years later.
