Fiction
During one special winter night, the forest friends come together to build something special. All the forest animals, no matter if they are predators or prey, work together on a special project. Something amazing is happening later and if they are going to experience it, they have to work together.
Using a rhyming scheme and hints of blues, pinks, and purples, kids will be put in the mood for a beautiful winter evening of fun with friends. All the animals have a job to do, from the largest animals like the bear and deer to the smallest animals like the wren to the stronger animals like the beaver, everyone pitches in because they know there is something beautiful happening later.
Not everything goes smoothly, but after a few BUMPS, the animals are back on their way to a spectacular show. This story reminds kids that everyone can work together as a team and when you do, something magical can happen. A perfect story for a cold winter storytime and a cup of hot cocoa nearby.
