Sadly, my father lost his battle with COPD and pneumonia on Saturday, December 9. He struggled with not feeling well and quickly his lungs ( already compromised) were taken over by pneumonia. We tried various medicines, but his heart and lungs just couldn’t fight any longer. We were all surrounding him and holding him as he took his last breath and it was the most peaceful moment I have witnessed in my life.

My dad was a pillar of his community and a stalwart of our family. He was a Korean War Veteran, a hard-working farmer, a loyal husband, and a loving father and grandfather. I know how blessed I was to have him in my life for 51 years, but I selfishly wanted more.

Thank you for your kind words and prayers. If you’d like to read about his life, you may read his obituary, HERE.

May you appreciate and show your family all the love in your heart this holiday season.

Merry Christmas, friends.

I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

I just found your book reviews though Goodreads (What About Digital Tech), and I’m so sorry to hear about your father. I lost my father at 88 last year, so do understand. I hope that you have happy thoughts, good memories, and supportive family around to help you through this difficult time. Take care.

That is so kind of you to think of me. No matter how old we are, we will always miss our dad.
      Thank you for reaching out.
